"This line runs north by the foot of Nolisemach Lake and was run in the month of August 1818 at the request of the Com[missioners] who made the Treaty with the Indians in June last, as and for the easterly line of the Two townships reserved to the Indians by the treaty aforesaid, protracted by a scale of 100 rods to one inch."
