This plan represent the side lines of the Township Number Two of the Old Indian Purchase on the east side of Penobscot river, as the same was surveyed by the order of Salem Town, Esq. in the year 1797, and the survey of the river, and the lots fronting thereon in the year 1818 by James Irish, Esq. under the direction of Lothrop Lewis, Surveyor General.
