Photo 7: Ultramylonite of the Pattee Corner Mylonite (pcm), probably derived from granofels of the Cape Elizabeth Formation (Oce). The black folded rock is deformed pseudotachylyte. Pseudotachylyte as single veins or interconnected networks are common within this ultramylonite. North end of Monroe Gravel Pit off Route 139, Monroe.
