Agenda and full transcript of the meeting of the Maine Acadian Culture Preservation Advisory Commission held in Fort Kent on May 20, 1993 and chaired by Richard G. Dumont (president of the University of Maine at Fort Kent).

Agenda:
- Review and approval of summary report from March 25, 1993 (a copy is enclosed);
- Report of the following working groups: Mission Statement, Cooperating Organizations, and Public Involvement;
- Presentation by Ronald Labelle, Folklorist with the Centre d'études acadiennes (Center for Acadian Studies). Mr. Labelle, internationally recognized folklorist and expert on Acadian culture, will present a [sic] overview of the center's research activities and resources. Part of the University of Moncton's campus, the center specializes in Maritime Canadian Acadian genealogy and culture;
- Report of the National Park Service Planning Team;
- Opportunity for public comment;
- Proposed agenda, place and date of next Commission meeting.
