Description
Full transcript of the meeting of the Maine Acadian Culture Preservation Advisory Commission held in Frenchville on November 17, 1993 and chaired by Richard G. Dumont (president of the University of Maine at Fort Kent). Also enclosed: summary report for the Grand Isle meeting held in September 1993; notes from the Cooperative Agreements Working Group meeting; a blank reimbursement form; and a draft of the MACPAC annual report. The original packet to Commission members included a newsletter, news clippings, and letters from the public.
The November 17 meeting, held at Dr. Levesque Elementary School, was preceded by a historical presentation by David Raymond at Sainte-Luce church. The meeting agenda included working group reports and information from the National Park Service planning team.
