Comprehensive Land Use Plan for for Areas Within the Jurisdiction of the Maine Land Use Regulation Commission

In 1969, the Maine Legislature established (PL 1969 Ch 494) the Land Use Regulatory Commission for the purposes of extending the principle of sound planning, zoning, and development control to the plantations and townships of the State. Included in that scope of work was development of a Comprehensive Land Use Plan for the areas of the state under the jurisdiction of the new agency.
