Description

The old print says:- M.C. 375 4-6-0 Fabyan, N.H. Sept 1938. - A MEC Class O built by Baldwin in November 1907 and scrapped in Feb of 1939. Cyl: 21x26 with 63 inch drivers running at 200lb. If I've indexed myself properly the locomotive is headed west towards St. Johnsbury on the Mountain Division and it is about 9 o'clock in the morning. Right under the cow catcher is a Weber Joint bar. MEC used a lot of those.. A nice 'contrasty' photo as my father would have said. The station is a restaurant c2019 when I last dined there after a trip up Mt.Washington in the Cog. /DL
