Description

The camera is standing very close to MP 69 on the Rockland Branch. 69 Miles to Portland and 17 to Rockland. From a small color print with text on the margin, "Siding just east of Waldoboro 6-65" I place this scene looking eastbound from the Cole Road crossing. If I'm right there is a tight left hand turn in the distance with the US Rt1 over pass just round the bend. The switch lamp would require a visit for fuel once every week or so. The backside of a flanger warning sign is just to the left of the switch's frog. /DL
