    Description

Crowley's Junction is just a few miles south of downtown Lewiston on what became the "Lewiston Lower" Branch in later years. At Crowley's the railroad branched north east thru Sabattus and on to Leeds Junction where it crossed the 'Back Road' to arrive eventually at Farmington and the 2 foot Sandy River & Rangley Lakes Railroad. CA 2010 the junction trackage was still in place but over grown. The rails to Leeds were long gone at that time. The 'Lewiston Lower' right of way north of Lisbon Falls was over grown as well. /DL
