Description

This locomotive was built by The Rhode Island Locomotive Works in August of 1888 and operated on the Upper Coos RR (UC) as Number 3 the 'Cookshire'. The UC was leased to the MEC in 1890. In this photo taken in 1900 UC #3 has been renumbered to MEC#128. It will be renumbered again to MEC #84. It was scrapped in 1910. /DL
