Description

No date or amplifying info with this old post card, however it must be prior to WWI as Leeds Centre isn't listed in the 1920s time tables. The combination passenger and freight station isn't very busy. Milk cans waiting for the daily 'milk run' or they're empty waiting for the farmer to pick them up. Train order signals are down. Just off the Back Road on the branch that ca2020 heads north to the mill at Jay but 'back in the day' was called the Farmington Branch... /DL
