Description
Letter from the Little Franciscans of Mary (Petites Franciscaines de Marie), a Catholic religious order then teaching at St. Louis School in Fort Kent, extending birthday wishes to Superintendent Joseph F. Cyr. Two files.
Joseph François Cyr (1867-1945) graduated from the Madawaska Training School and taught in Frenchville, Fort Kent, Clayton Lake, Saint Francis, and Saint John, Maine. He became a school superintendent and served in many other public offices. He married Elise Morin in Frenchville on October 29, 1898.
