Description
Record of Persons Liable to Enrollment in the Militia of Maine, Town of Cumberland, 1881-1899 contains the names, ages, and occupations of those individuals liable for enrollment in the militia under Chapter 225, Public Laws of 1880, approved March 16, 1880, and later acts and amendments of the Maine Legislature. The lists were created every two years, with the first dated April 29, 1881, and the last dated April 27, 1889.
