Description

WCOU Times was a promotional newspaper published by radio station WCOU of Lewiston, Maine to mark the third anniversary of the station’s first broadcast on August 21, 1938. The publication highlights the station’s development, local programming, personalities, and sponsors, and includes articles about radio broadcasting, entertainment figures, and the role of radio in community life. This issue, dated August 21, 1941, documents the early years of radio broadcasting in the Lewiston–Auburn area and the activities of the Twin City Broadcasting Company.
