Prominent gouge at the summit of Bald Mountain, one of many glacial grooves heading 161 degrees. Glacially sculpted and smoothed summit. Owls Head in the distance. Rock is gray migmatitic schist of Megunticook Formation. Prominent fracture trends 104 degrees.
