Photo 6: Light gray granite inclusions (felsic enclaves) in medium gray, medium-grained gabbro. Lighter gray rims around the inclusions are from recrystallization of the granitic material by the hotter gabbro magma. One of the individual gabbro layers within the layered gabbro-diorite unit (Slg).
