Photo 3. Light gray quartz-mica schist of the Scarboro Formation (Os) with characteristic discontinuous quartz pods. The asymmetry of these quartz pods, all inclined toward the right, is consistent with dextral or right-lateral ductile deformation. West side of Route 7, approximately 600 meters northwest of Styles Cemetery, Jackson.
