3A. Chaotic appearance of relict sedimentary structures in gneissic pelitic granofels, upper part of Dead River Formation, alkali feldspar + cordierite zone, Long Falls. Flaser-bedding produced by truncated ripple laminae and low-angle foresets, bounded near top and bottom of photograph by flow rolls and convolute lamination. 3B. Laminated metagraywacke with rounded metagraywacke fragments and incipient pull-apart structure in lower part of photograph. Pencil spans graded bed with small-scale slump structures in upper part. Dead River Formation, Long Falls.
