Description

Hand specimen collected from small test pit on the West Side Loop trail, Clark Island Preserve of the Maine Coast Heritage Trust. Non-foliated, medium gray, medium-grained biotite granite of the Spruce Head pluton. Alkali feldspar phenocrysts 4-7 mm. Collected 6/24/2022 by Henry Berry, MGS.
