MAP CAPTION- Photo 10: An example of quartzite conglomerate from the Battie Quartzite (C#mbc). Mostly white quartzite clasts set in a very light gray, slightly biotitic quartzite matrix. A few clasts of darker gray quartzite are present. The clasts are subrounded to subangular and not well sorted. In this particular example, the clasts range up to about 4 cm across. A building stone in the observation tower on the Mount Battie summit, Camden.
