Full transcript of the meeting of the Maine Acadian Culture Preservation Advisory Commission held in Lille on August 17, 1995 and chaired by Earle Shettleworth (Richard Dumont being unavailable). Proceedings included the administration of the oath to new Commission members; an overview of the Campobello Island meeting and NPS planning from Bruce Jacobson; efforts to edit and publish Prudent Mercure's papers; a lengthy discussion of the proposed Maine Acadian Heritage Council; information from Gil Albert and Dave Raymond about NPS activities in the Valley and workshops; and a public comment period.
