Page 11 of 'Maine Central in Color' by Jeremy Plant and George Melvin show this ball signal a the east end of the Portland Passenger station yard. They state that this signal was used to control trains onto and off of the Union Branch. This faded color print has a Kodak stamp on the back indicating the date it was printed and no additional information. /DL
