Description

A note with the photo lists the photo date as 1941 just a few months before Pearl Harbor and late in the life of #514. The MEC box car 7007 in the back ground is a nice touch. An ALCO Schenectady product 514 was built in April of 1912 and will meet the scrapper's torch in December of 1950. A lot of MEC steam met their maker in that year. /DL
