Description

Vanceboro c1905 from an old picture post card. If I’m properly indexed this scene is looking west. The notation on the card says: C.P. & M.C.R.R. DEPOT, Vanceboro, Maine Published by B. Jackman, Vanceboro, Me. Looks like late Spring by the size & color of the snow piles around the platform. C2010 all this is gone except for a single main line track and a passing siding. In its day this town on the Canadian border was a bustling place... ! /DL
