Description

This is the best photo I've come across for this station. While passenger service ended on the MEC 2 years earlier this station was shared with Canadian Pacific which didn't end passenger service on their line across Maine for another 20 years. I suspect the size of the station and the number of baggage wagons populating the platform hearken back to passenger interchange with the MEC in past decades. All this except the main line and a siding or two were gone ca.2010. /DL
