    Description

There isn't much with this old print except location and the year 1910... In the years before private automobile transportation and good roads this scene was played out several times a day at towns and cities all over America. Note the small 1 seat and slay at the lower left. It was a different time. Bingham was the initial destination of the Somerset Railroad which MEC acquired in July of 1911. About 2 miles south of Bingham was Austin Jct where the track branched for Rockwood, Moosehead Lake and the Hotel at Kineo which was owned by MEC. /DL
