Description
A 30 day round trip ticket between Bucksport and Bangor... Managing ticketing where there were hundreds of destinations over one, two, three or even more railroad companies was an intensive process requiring the printing of many ticket combinations. At the originating stations each ticket had to be inventoried daily by the station agent. Ledger books were filled in showing ticket inventory at the beginning and end of the day. /DL
