Published by the Maine Forest Service from 1953 to 1973, the Forest Protectors newsletter served as an internal communication tool to keep staff in the field informed of agency activities.
Thanks to the efforts of Bill Cobb of the Forest Fire Lookout Association Maine Chapter, most of this publication is now available to read online. A few issues are missing from the collection and the Maine State Library would be grateful to anyone who is able to loan copies for the purposes of completing this online digital collection.
