Description
Black-and-white photograph depicting a two-masted schooner under partial sail on calm coastal waters. The vessel features traditional fore-and-aft rigging with the mainmast set higher than the foremast, characteristic of Maine-built schooners of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. A single figure is visible on deck near the rigging. Low wooded shoreline appears in the background beneath an overcast sky.
