Description
Shipping receipt from September 27, 1860 for the schooner Astoria, sailing from Blue Hill, Maine to Brooklyn, New York with one hundred and ninety pieces of stone. Printed form with logo of Moses Hale, Stationer of Ellsworth, and details handwritten in black ink on front side, and handwritten note on back side stating, "Bill of Lading, Basin set stone, Sch Astoria, Sept 27, 1863."
