Description
Shipping receipt from October 3,1860 for the schooner Astoria, sailing from Brooksville and Blue Hill, Maine to Brooklyn, New York with fifty-three pieces of granite to be installed at Fort Richmond (now Fort Wadsworth). Printed form with logo of Moses Hale, Stationer of Ellsworth, and details handwritten in black ink on front side, and handwritten note on back side stating, "Bill of Lading, Astoria, M.D. McAlister, Oct 3,1860"
