Description
In July of 1862, a Bowdoin College professor volunteers to fight in the Civil War. Admitting that he knows nothing about the Army, he says he is willing to learn. Less than a year later, leading the 20th Maine Regiment at the Battle of Gettysburg, Professor, now Colonel, Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain shows that he is a good student and has learned well.
