A postcard printed in Germany during World War I. German Title: Die Ersturmung der Festung Luttich. Field sketch hand colored. the World war 1914, Attack and capture of fortifications Luettich in the night of 6-7.August 1914. Because of Belgien resistance it made the taking of the Fort a necessity. 3-4000 prisoner of war had to begin the trip to Germany. the airship ZVI dropped 12 fire bombs with success. German soldiers attacking a fort at night
