Description

A postcard printed in Germany during World War I. German title: unser Sieg bei Metz. Berlin, August 20. under the leadership of the crown prince of Bavaria the troups of all German clans obtained a victory in the battles between Metz and the Vogesen . North of Metz the German crownprince and his army threw back the enemy temporarily. Our troups, driving by unstoppable need to advance, follow the enemy and continue the fight. (W.I.B.) portraits of Kaiser Wilhelm, crown prince Rupprecht, crown prince Wilhelm, great duke Friedrich of Baden, King LudwigIII of Bavaria, King Wilhelm II of Wuerttemberg.
