Description
Mr. Smith's triumphal journey home with his dream fish attracts much local interest.
Webster has taken a bit of the cartoonists' liberty in expressing his enthusiasm for fishing in Maine. But veteran anglers are like that about our great variety of game fish. Maine has more trout waters than any state in the East. Battling landlocked salmon are only found here and in a few nearby waters. Fishing for these two champions is at its best from now until late June. From mid June through the summer there's great bass fishing - and togue, pickerel and pearch. Spend your 1947 vacation at one of our fine sporting camps, famed for good living, food, comfort, and friendly fishing companions.
