Election Tabulations for the General Election: Referendum & Proposed Constitutional Amendments, held on November 7, 1967. Referendum Question No. 1 "Shall a bond issue be ratified for the purposes set forth in 'An Act to Authorize Bond Issue in the Amount of Four Hundred and Fifteen Thousand Dollars for Construction of a Multi-purpose Building at Fort Kent State College,' passes by the 103rd Legislature?"; Referendum Question No. 2 "Shall the State expand its classroom facilities to allow for increased enrollment at the State Colleges and State Vocational-Technical Institutions by issuing bonds in the amount of $4,815,00?"; Referendum Question No. 3 "Shall the mental hospital and correctional institutions be enlarged and improved to better accommodate person with mental, emotional or social disorders by issuing bonds in the amount of $1,420,000?"; Referendum Question No. 4 "Shall the State expand classroom facilities and make improvements at several locations of the University of Maine to allow for increased enrollment by issuing bonds in the amount of $6,320,000?"; Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 1 "Shall the Constitution be amended as proposed by a resolution of the Legislature Relating to Time for Codifying the Constitution?"; Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 2 "Shall the Constitution be amended as proposed by a resolution of Legislature Pledging Credit of the State and Providing for the Issuance of Bonds Not Exceeding One Million Dollars for Loans for Maine Students in Higher Education?"; Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 3 "Shall the Constitution which now permits insuring payment of mortgage loans of recreational projects not exceeding ten million dollars, be amended, as proposed by a resolution of the legislature Pledging Credit of the State and Providing for a Seventeen Million Dollar Bond Issue for Guaranteed Loans for Recreational Purposes?"; Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 4 "Shall the Constitution be amended as proposed by a resolution of Legislature Repealing the Offices of Judges and Registers of Probate as Constitutional Officers?"; Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 5 "Shall the Constitution be amended a proposed by a resolution of the Legislature Relating to Temporary Loans in Anticipation of State Tax Revenues and Limitation Thereon?"; Proposed Constitutional Amendment No. 6 "Shall the Constitution be amended as proposed by a resolution of the Legislature Insuring Payment of Industrial Loans to Fisheries and Agriculture?"
