Description
This inaugural issue of the O.E.O. Express newsletter highlights efforts by the Maine Department of Transportation’s Office of Equal Opportunity (OEO) to strengthen on-the-job training (OJT) programs in highway and bridge construction. Key features include the formation of a collaborative task force between MDOT and private contractors, the development of statewide “Orientation to Construction” sessions to recruit women and minorities, and updates on compliance review practices.
