Description
Entries include brief biographical information, a lengthy typed biography from a 1940 issue of the Colby Alumnus, a typed letter from the Maine State Library introducing Young to the Maine Author Collection, a typed letter from Young in the Consumer Service Department on General Foods Corporation, Postum Building, 250 Park Avenue, New York, stationery presenting The Working Girl Must Eat, several newspaper cookbook review clippings with profile and portrait images of Young and some biographical information, typed letters and notation concerning Young's visits to the Maine State Library presenting Better Meals For Less Money and The Working Girl's Own Cook Book in person, and a letter typed from the Maine State Library on receipt of Young's gift of Islands of New England for the Maine Author Collection.
