Entries include brief biographical information, a typed letter from Tinker at Davenport College hoping to contribute his book to the Maine State Library, a typed letter from the Maine State Library where he had visited several years previous, with replies concerning Tinker's books in the general library collection and disappointment that Tinker had previously been represented in the Maine Author Collection only through the inscription of his collaborator Professor Pottle sent with a copy of the Maine Library Bulletin featuring notice of Tinker's book of poetry, typed letters on receipt of gifts of Tinker's books for the Maine Author Collection, and persistent correspondence concerning gifts for the Maine Author Collection from the Maine State Library.
