Abstract
Entries include the brief biographical information of a Yarmouth, Maine, druggist appointed to the Committee of the Maine Historical Society for research on the maritime history of Maine, typed replies presenting Rowe's autographed booklets on Yarmouth poets and personages and books sent by the Maine State Library, a list of important maritime book titles, a prepublication advertisement with artwork, table of contents, and biography, part of a book review newspaper clipping from the Portland Evening Express with a photographic image of Rowe, typed letters on personal stationery with notes on his study of Maine craft and unavailability of information due to custom house fires, and some information on Judge Hale and fellow appointees Patterson and Hall as well as Harvard University academics, Howard Corning and Mr. Marks.
