Summary report and full transcript of the inaugural meeting of the Maine Acadian Culture Preservation Advisory Commission held in St. Agatha on June 25, 1992. Marie Rust (National Park Service acting regional director) opened the meeting and Richard G. Dumont (president of the University of Maine at Fort Kent) served as chair. The meeting included an introduction of Commission members; a report on NPS involvement in Acadian culture from Bruce Jacobson; the appointment of working groups; and remarks by members of the public, including Lisa Ornstein of the Acadian Archives and Maine Speaker of the House John Martin. Three files.
