Byron Luke Hagensick

Byron Luke Hagensick was born February 24, 1897, in Elkader, Iowa. He worked for the Wisconsin Telephone Company, in Milwaukee, as a traffic inspector before he began his service.

He served in the U. S. Army, a part of Company E, 410th Telegraph Battalion, Signal Corps. during World War I. He achieved the rank of Sergeant on May 16, 1919.

Upon returning from the Great War, he went back to his job at the telephone company. Byron died March 2, 1966, in Milwaukee and is remembered here by his grandson, a Maine resident.
