Jackman Journal was a weekly newspaper published in Jackman, Maine, from 1987 to 1988 by Russ and Gail Lombardi. The paper ran for a total of 26 issues and focused on local news and community life in the Moose River region. Following the conclusion of the Jackman Journal, the Lombardis went on to publish additional newspapers, including the Jackman–Moose River Chronicle, which later evolved into the Somerset Gazette.
The DigitalMaine repository currently includes a single digitized issue from the newspaper’s run; efforts are ongoing to locate and preserve additional issues for future inclusion.
