Historical Photographs taken by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. Group of photos identified as "Togue and trout ". Photo identified as "Togue are marked at Governor Hill Hatchery, North Augusta, by Duane Murphy of Norway (L), biology aide, and Stuart DeRoche of Springvale, Regional Fishery biologist of ME Dept. of Inland Fisheries and Game. Assisted by a NH fishery biologist, DeRoche conducted a survey of Great East Lake at Acton, ME and Wakefield, NH several years ago. Conditions were found to be excellent for introduction and mangement of togue (Lake Trout).".
