Historical Photographs taken by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. Group of photos identified as "Sebago Lake RegionLeader Being Set in Johnston Pond near Millinocket, Maine". Photo identified as "A leader, which diverts fish into a trap net in about 15 feet of water, is shown being set by fishery biologists Roger AuClair, Rockwood and Robert S Rupp, Orono, in Johnston Pond, a few miles southwest of Millinockett. Jo Mary Pond, nearby, is also being investigated in the long range study of small, wilderness trout ponds. The fish are caught and released as part of a fish population estimate.".
