Photo identified as "The judges have their work cut out for them in the contest to name the little indian, symbol of the Governor's Committee on Hunting Safety. Committee Chairman A.H. Garcelon, left, and Postmaster Russell E. Dodge checked the mail from the first few days of the contest. About 5,000 entries had been received at the post office in Wayne. The contest closes March 31. School officials have information on the rules, as the contest is open to all Maine school children from subprimary through eigth grade.".
