Established in 1893, the Hallowell Current Events Club was a women's organization aimed at promoting "knowledge and understanding of affairs, domestic and foreign, and to working for the betterment of the community."
When the group dissolved in 1980, members voted to preserve the records of the club at the Hubbard Free Library. A small portion of that collection has been digitized and made available here. More content will be added as time permits.
