Established in 1975, the Maine Office of Energy Resources was an Executive Branch agency of the State of Maine charged with planning and policy development on energy issues and administering federally-funded energy programs in Maine.
The agency dissolved on December 31, 1989 with some of its functions realigned under the Maine State Planning office and the Maine Department of Economic and Community Development.
