Description
A historical lecture delivered before the Eastport Lyceum in April 1834 by Jonathan D. Weston, Esq., detailing the early history of Eastport, Maine, and the surrounding region. The work draws on limited documentary evidence and oral accounts to preserve local history, including early European exploration, French and English colonial rivalries, Native American tribes, and the development of settlements in the Passamaquoddy Bay area.
