The Maine Tidal Restriction Atlas documents roads, railroads, dams, culverts, bridges, and other structures that cross tidal streams, marshes, and wetlands. Developed by the Maine Coastal Program and its partners, the Atlas helps communities, road owners, conservation groups, and others identify structures that currently restrict tidal flow or may become tidal as sea levels rise.
